Getting started
The Media Library is a new way to manage your images and videos for reports. You can now upload multiple photos at once and drag and drop them into specific sections of the report. Each report has its own media library for easy organization and it allows you to label and categorize photos for better future reference. Finally, media can be seamlessly integrated with comments within the report, providing a clearer picture of the inspection findings for clients.
Using the Media Library
Currently the Media Library is only accessible through the Web Report Writer, however, access from the app is on the way!
Follow these steps to access and use this feature:
- Within any inspection's detailed view, click or tap on Open report writer in the bottom right side of the screen
- Within the Web Report Writer, tap on Report Media Library to the left
- Tap the blue Add media button to add photos and videos. Filter between images, videos, along with media that's in use within the inspection and media that hasn't been used yet.
- When accessing Lines within Categories the Media Library will automatically appear. Within this view you may add one, or multiple, pieces of media into Lines or a comment.
