Getting started
The video editor has multiple options for changing and marking up videos. You can use it to trim a video to be shorter, transform its size, modify its audio, and add text or shapes. To trim the video so that it can be shorter the Trim button can be used. Like photos, to add text, use the Text button and to add shapes, use the Sticker button.
- Navigate to the video you need to edit under the Media section
- Tap on the video to open the editor
Transform
Transform lets you crop, mirror, and rotate a video. In order to undo any changes, tap the Reset button at the bottom of the screen.
- To crop the video, use your fingers to make the selection rectangle smaller to fit the section you want the final photo to be. The video will preview its final size by zooming in.
- In order to mirror the video, tap the mirror button on the left.
- To rotate the video in steps, tap the rotate button on the right. Or, to rotate manually with more control slide your finger across the dotted section in the middle of the screen.
Adjust
Adjust can be used to modify several aspects of your video related to its appearance. After tapping an option, use the slider to either decrease (slide left) or increase (slide right) the effect.
- Brightness can enhance how bright or dark the darkest parts of a video appear
- Contrast is how great the difference between the brightest and darkest parts of the video can be
- Saturation controls how much color a video has. The lowest amount will make the video appear in greyscale, while the highest amount will make the video pop out with intense colors.
- Lastly, Clarity will make the details/borders of objects in the video easier to see.

Brush
The Brush tool is the best way to manually mark up videos. After selecting the brush option, three options are available: Color, Size, and Hardness.
- Color is used to select the color the markup will be. Several options are available to choose from along with an eyedrop option to choose a color from the video being edited. Every color can be edited to your choosing by double-tapping the option you want to edit.
- To use the eyedrop, tap the left-most option with an eyedrop symbol
- Tap the video and move the cursor to find and choose the color you want to use. Once selected, the color becomes available to markup the video with
- Size will control the width of the markup being added to the video
- Hardness will change the outline of the markup. The lowest amount will create a blurry markup while the highest amount will create a very solid markup.
Video
The Video option lets you combine several clips into one and trim their length.
- To add another video or clip to the current video being edited, tap Add more clips
- Choose the video file you want to add from your device
- Tap Done to select and add the file
- In order to trim the length of a video you can drag the edges of the video
Sticker
Stickers provide a quick and easy way to mark up a video with shapes or arrows.
- Tap on the sticker you want to markup the video with from the selection available at the top of the screen
- The sticker is added to the video and can now be moved or edited
- To resize the sticker, you can drag one of the corners of the cursor or use two fingers to pinch or expand
- To rotate the sticker, use two fingers to rotate the sticker
- To replace the sticker with a different shape, tap the Replace button and then select a new shape from the list available
- To mirror the sticker, tap the mirror button
- To delete the sticker, tap the trash can button
- Opacity is used to change how visible the sticker is (transparency). The lowest amount provides a completely see-through sticker, while the highest makes the sticker have no transparency.
- Lastly, Color is used to change the color of the sticker.
Text
Text is used to add text to the video. After tapping the option, your device's keyboard will appear allowing you to enter the text you want. Tapping on the text reveals several additional options.
- Font provides a vast number of fonts to choose from
- Color will change the text color
- BG Color will create a colored background for the text for additional visibility
- Lastly, Alignment provides options for aligning the text within its text entry cursor
Trim
The last option available for editing videos is Trim. This option lets you resize the length of your video in case you want to make it shorter.
