Anatomy of an inspection template
Description
A list of visual descriptors can be added to an inspection line in this section. The descriptors added create a multiple-choice list available at the time of the inspection, which means that several descriptions can be used for one line.
- Add, delete, or rename descriptors by using the Edit List button
Additional inputs
Additional inputs are a great way to provide extra details to an inspection line. A great example of this is using an additional input to specify the type of exterior of a home, versus only providing a description.
- Add, delete, or rename additional inputs by tapping the blue + Additional Input button found below Description
- Use the Edit List button to add options to your additional input
Media
The Media section is included by default with every line, it allows photos and videos to be added to an inspection item so that they appear each time you do an inspection.
Location
Location provides the ability to set a default location for the line being created.
- To add, delete, or change a default location, click the blue Edit button to the right and select from the list of available options to create a location name
- To delete an option, click on its name in the preview bar at the top of this view
- Use the green Apply button in the bottom right of this window to apply the default location
- You can add additional custom locations using the Edit Template Location List
- Any modifications made to Locations will be available everywhere else in your template where Locations are found

General Information to whoever is reading the report can be conveyed in this section. This section is commonly used to provide disclaimers.
Comments
Comments can include default ratings and locations, along with a default information photo.
- You can easily add a new comment by tapping the blue + Add comments button at the bottom of the page.
