Online Scheduler - How to configure

The following article will provide a guide on how to configure scheduling behavior, booking availability, and customer booking preferences while making it easy to share their Online Scheduler link with customers.

How to Access Online Scheduler Configuration

  • Profile/HomeSettingsOnline Scheduler.

The Online Scheduler Configuration page will open, where you can manage scheduling settings and access the Online Scheduler URL.


How to Share Online Scheduler Link

The Online Scheduler URL section allows inspectors to quickly share their public booking link with customers.

Copy the Online Scheduler URL

  1. Locate the Online Scheduler URL section.

  2. Click the Copy icon next to the URL.

  3. Share the copied link with customers so they can book inspections online.

Embed the Scheduler on a Website

Inspectors can also add the Online Scheduler directly to their company website.

  1. Locate the Embed Code (iframe) section.

  2. Click Copy Embed Code.

  3. Paste the copied iframe code into the website’s HTML where the scheduler should appear.

This allows customers to schedule inspections directly from the company website without leaving the page.


How to Schedule Availability Window

The Schedule Appointment Window setting controls the hours customers are allowed to schedule inspections online.

Set Available Scheduling Hours

  1. Select the Start Time to define when appointments can begin each day.

  2. Select the End Time to define the latest available appointment time.

Only appointment times within the selected scheduling window will be available to customers in the Online Scheduler.


How to Control Inspector Visibility During Booking

The Display Inspector Names setting controls whether customers can see available inspector names while selecting an appointment time.

This setting is enabled by default.

Manage Inspector Visibility

  • When enabled, customers can view the names of available inspectors for each appointment slot.

  • When disabled, appointment slots are shown without inspector names.


How to Allow Same-Day Scheduling

The Allow Same-Day Scheduling setting controls whether customers can book inspections for the current day.

This setting is enabled by default.

Manage Same-Day Bookings

  • When enabled, customers can schedule inspections for the same day based on inspector availability.

  • When disabled, customers can only schedule inspections for future dates.


How to Configure Next-Day Booking Cutoff Time

The Next-Day Cutoff setting controls how late customers can book inspections for the following day.

This setting is enabled by default.

Set the Next-Day Booking Cutoff Time

  1. Turn the setting on or off using the toggle.

  2. Select a cutoff time from the dropdown menu.

After the cutoff time is passed today, till next day’s same time, the user will not be able to schedule any inspections.


How to Automatically Schedule Online Orders

The Automatically Schedule Online Orders setting controls whether inspections booked through the Online Scheduler are automatically confirmed and scheduled.

This setting is enabled by default.

Manage Automatic Scheduling

  • When enabled, online bookings are automatically moved from Unscheduled to Scheduled/Confirmed without requiring manual action from inspectors.

  • When disabled, inspectors will manually review and confirm the online bookings. Then only the inspections are marked as scheduled.


How to Reset Online Scheduler Settings to Default

The Reset To Defaults button restores all Online Scheduler settings back to their original default configuration.

Reset Configuration Settings

  1. Click Reset To Defaults.

  2. A confirmation window appears asking:

    • “Are you sure you want to reset to default configurations?”

  3. Click:

    • Yes to reset all settings to their default values

    • Cancel to keep the current configuration settings

Reset changes are not saved automatically. Click Save Configuration to permanently apply the updated settings
