If you just started using Palmtech Complete and previously had a Legacy version of Palmtech, you might wonder what happened to the "Add another Bedroom" or "Add another Bathroom" buttons. We have simplified this in Palmtech Complete. Instead of recording all of the details of each room, when you find an issue, you can now indicate where the issue is with the location. This allows you to show a Maintenance issue in the Master Bath shower and call out a leak Defect in the 1st Floor Guest Half bath without having to record all of the different details of each.

In this article, we will take a look at how this works.

Here we have two comments in the Bathroom Category, one for the Master Bathroom and one for the 1st Floor Bathroom. It's very simple to label where the issues are. Add the comment, tap on location, and choose a location.

You can still inspect room by room if that is what you prefer. You will use "Add Category" and you can rename the new category. Example: Master Bathroom.

Let's take a look at how the published reports that your clients will receive look. This report was created using the Locations to tell us where the deficiencies were found:

As you can see by the samples above, the first method of using the Locations to label where the issues are found will make it much faster for you to inspect and it will also create clear and concise reports. If you have any pictures or videos, they will appear on only the comment you added them to.
