Having diagrams in a home inspection report helps provide clear visual representations of the home's structure and systems. This makes it easier for customers to understand complex information about the condition of the property, or proper use of a system. Additionally, diagrams can make the report more engaging and easier to interpret, giving customers confidence in making informed decisions about the property.
Adding a diagram to a template
Adding a diagram to a Line
Diagrams can be pre-saved to any line in a template, that means that they'll show up in any report which uses the template. You can pre-save diagrams to a line where needed.
Within the Portal choose the template you need to edit under the Templates section
Find the Category with the Line which requires the diagram
Scroll down to the Media section and tap the Information Photo button
Select the image to add to your template
To delete an image, tap the trash can icon found on the top-right corner of the image
Adding a diagram to a Comment
Diagrams can also be added to comments within a template. You can pre-save diagrams to a comment wherever needed.
Within the Portal choose the template you need to edit under the Templates section
Find the Category, then the Line, and finally the Comment which requires the diagram
Scroll down to the Media section and tap the Information Photo button
Select the image to add to your template
To delete an image, tap the trash can icon found on the top-right corner of the image
