Disclaimers are an important part of any inspection report. A well-crafted disclaimer in a home inspection report helps manage expectations, clarifies the limitations of the inspection, and protects you as the inspector from undue liability, providing a clear understanding for both the inspector and the client.
Add (or edit) disclaimers in your report
In Palmtech Complete disclaimers are added to lines using the Introductory Text field. To add/edit a new disclaimer follow these steps:
In the Portal, navigate to the Templates section and find the template you want to add a disclaimer to
Tap the name of the template to edit the template, or use the edit button
Find the Category that needs the disclaimer and click or tap the ellipsis (•••)
Choose the Edit option
Type your disclaimer into the available text box
Use the Save button to save your disclaimer
